The Design of Everyday Things

Graphic Design | Typography | Book Design

Fall 2022

Brief:

Course: Typography 2

This assignment requires you to read, sketch, edit, and develop grids in master page to effectively present text and images throughout the length of this 75+ page book. Use everything you have learned from previous projects to establish a clear hierarchy, direction, and an effective rhythm and page dynamic.

Background:

The book The Design of Everyday Things by Don Norman has inspired me as a designer over the past few years. I wanted to represent this book in a visually interesting way through this project.
