How does utensil packaging interact with the meal itself? I was interested in exploring how packaging design could not only be an interactive element but an experience enhancer.
This project was inspired by a personal habit of mine while eating cup ramen. Ever since I can remember, my siblings and I would fold the circular paper covering in fourths to create a cone-shaped cup to eat our delicious noodles out of. Beyond the fact that this technique helped cool down the steaming ramen noodles, it always made the experience of eating this meal that much better.
Incorporating origami animals, these disposable chopsticks not only serve as a practical chopstick stand, but as a fun mealtime activity.
